Vendor Ed is when the teens go out to different vendors around the downriver area and educate them on the risk they are taking on selling tobacco to minors. Many vendors would sell tobacco to minors and not care. We go out and inform them on the state mandated signs that they need to have posted in there store also we tell them about the ticket they can get if they get caught selling to minors. This is a very important matter teens can become very sick and get lung cancer. So we try our hardest to keep tobacco away from teens..
